CONDITIONS FOR OBTAINING A PERMANENT RESIDENCE PERMIT IN CYPRUS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF FURTHER OBTAINING EU CITIZENSHIP:
Permanent residence permit category F
- Wealthy foreign citizens residing in Cyprus can obtain a permanent residence permit category F
- The basis for obtaining a residence permit is a guaranteed annual income received from abroad and confirmed by a bank account statement of the main applicant, the presence of own real estate in Cyprus, documents confirming the ownership of a business in the country of origin.
- Immigration may also require proof of additional funds.
Permanent residence permit category 6(2) “accelerated”, you must:
- Purchase real estate with a minimum price of 300,000 euros (+ VAT). A minimum of 200,000 euros (+ VAT) must be paid to submit documents.
- Make a deposit in a Cyprus bank in the amount of 30,000 euros for 3 years.
- The applicant must have a minimum annual income of 30,000 euros (+5,000 euros for each dependent + 8,000 euros for each parent).
- Submit an application confirming that the applicant does not work in Cyprus, however he may be a shareholder of a Cyprus company which will bring him dividends.
Main advantages:
- The express procedure takes from 2 to 4 months.
- You will be able to own a business in Cyprus and receive dividends.
- Permanent residence is issued to the applicant's spouse, their children (minors and unmarried, financially dependent adult children under 25 years of age who are students with a remaining period of study of at least six months + an additional annual income of 5,000 euros must be shown for each such dependent child ), and parents of a married couple, with an additional annual income of 8,000 euros for each parent of a married couple.
- You are not required to be on the island, but only visit it once every two years.
